Yes. It's free for everyone, with no limits, no account, no student ID and no card. Donations are optional.
Can I use it for assignments?
mcosec.ai only moves your own chat from one AI to another. Whether you may use AI for a piece of work depends on your college's rules, so check those first.
Does it work on a Chromebook or a college computer?
It works in Chrome, Edge and Brave on Windows, macOS, Linux and Chromebooks, anywhere you can add Chrome extensions. Some college-managed computers block extensions.
Does it read my chats?
Only the chat you have open, and only when you press Read this chat. It is compacted on your device and never sent to any server.
How do I transfer a ChatGPT conversation to Claude?
Open the chat, click the mcosec.ai icon and press Read this chat, then choose Claude and press Copy and continue. There's also a step-by-step guide, including how to do it without an extension.
Is this the same as Claude's or Gemini's memory import?
No. Memory import brings facts about you. mcosec.ai moves one conversation, with its goal, decisions and code, so the next AI can carry on where you left off.
Why fewer tokens?
Long chats repeat themselves. mcosec.ai keeps your goal, the latest messages and the code, and shortens the rest, so the next AI gets the context in less space. That helps with free-plan limits and slow chats.
Does it move files and images?
No, only text. Upload files and images again in the new chat.
What do donors get?
Any donation from ₹50 includes one month of Pro (v2) free when it launches, sent to the email you paid with on Razorpay (or, for UPI QR payments, the email you claim it from).
